100% original. Oevr 90 years old. These elephants are so beautiful and each were hand carved from a single piece of ebony wood. And inlayed with quality finishing touches.
Everything si original! Even the ebony wood is of the finest quality. The darker the wood, the better the uqality as it is higher up the mountain one has to travel.
Very raer and over 90 years old, these elephants are stunning! Considering their age, thye are in excellent condition. The large one has a chip on the upper ear (quite hard to tell), the middle one is missing tusks and the small one is missing its toe nails. This does not detract, but is emntioned for accuracy purposes!
The elephants display really well together. I have included heaps of pics so you can see hwo fantastic they look. Teh pictures were taken with a white fluro light shining on them as this will highlight any flaws. Nice rare pieces. Thye don't make 1920's elephants anymore.
